Real Madrid’s Aitor Karanka impressed with current 2010/11 campaign – La Liga news
Real Madrid assistant manager, Aitor Karanka, has praised his squad for putting up an impressive show throughout the season. He was talking in the wake of his team’s thumping win over Getafe which has kept Los Blancos in the title hunt, though, their chances are extremely slim.

Karanka admitted that this year Madrid let themselves off the hook in the start and that is the only difference between them and Barcelona. He did concede the title to Barcelona but confirmed that the Whites would come out hard in the upcoming 2011/12 season.
He further added, "This year, we've proved that the team doesn't suffer, regardless of who plays. There is no greater motivation for our men than to wear this club's shirt. Ronaldo's numbers are truly impressive, and his quality allows him to do this and much more. It is also a product of the work done by the entire team, which also has impressive collective numbers this season."
Madrid made four changes in their line-up which hammered Sevilla 6-2 on Saturday. Goalkeeper Antonio Adan started the game for Los Blancos and was later replaced by another youngster, Tomas Mejias, with ten minutes on the clock remaining.
