Continuing on the affairs of the national team, Casillas stated his desire to play Euro 2016. The 30-year-old has the ability to retain his number 1 place on the team sheet for at least four more years, but ruled out the Euro 2020 event.
"From my perspective, it is clear that this will not be my last Euro tournament, unless the coach does not count on me.”
"A goalkeeper can play at a top level for more years, but perhaps two more Euros will be complicated," Casillas explained.
