Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo feels Barcelona have favourable forces working for them
Real Madrid’s Portuguese forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629, strongly agrees with the fact that Barcelona is a great team, but he also feels that they have favourable forces working for them.
The player made these comments following Madrid’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League at the hands of their archrivals. Madrid went on to lose their first-leg at home by 2-0, amidst numerous controversies, and then a 1-1 draw in the second-leg saw
Barcelona go through by 3-1 on aggregate.
Madrid looked to be on the verge of sparking a come-back early on in the second-half, but a disallowed goal from Gonzalo Higuain prevented that from happening.
Keeping that in mind, Ronaldo went on to insist that it is not just Barcelona’s football performance that helps them win matches. When talking about the match, Ronaldo referred to it as, “Mission Impossible Four"
The player then went on to add, "There are lots of things together. What happened at the Bernabeu, what happened today, these are things to think about. Barcelona have a great team but there's something behind it. It was hard to play with 10-men after our
red card against Barcelona, and it was hard to play with the goal disallowed today”.
The player then targeted Argentine international, Javier Mascherano, to comment on how he had become something of a cheater at Barcelona.
Ronaldo then stated, "[http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809: he learned the cheats of Barcelona”.
It would be hard to disagree with Ronaldo about both, Mascherano and Barcelona.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 has had a number of decisions waved in their favour during the course of the Champions League and no one is quite sure as to why that has happened.
At the same time, just when everyone was starting to think that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Mascherano-c18071 came out of nowhere and made those people eat their words.
Referring to the incident Ronaldo is talking about, the replays clearly show that Ronaldo nips on the heels of Mascherano while falling down. However, the Argentine continues his run for a second and then realized he can’t catch up with Ronaldo so he tumbles
to the floor.
What this Champions League semi-final has done, apart from getting Barcelona all the way to the finals, is that it has gone on to reveal a very dark and ugly side to the Catalans. A side, that no one is going to be able to forget, for a long time.
