Real Madrid’s Kaka intent on staying in the Spanish capital – La Liga News
Real Madrid playmaker Kaka has been in the news since his multi-million dollar arrival from AC Milan. The attacking midfielder gave a renaissance performance against Ajax Amsterdam in UEFA Champions League match, scoring a delightful goal to add icing on
the cake.
Following his match-winning performance, Kaka has expressed his intent to stay in Madrid for the foreseeable future.
The Brazilian is finally nearing the form Florentino Perez splashed his millions for. After two tumultuous years with the Spanish giants, the samba star is finally making headlines for the right reasons.
The 29-year-old is finally reaching peak fitness with the Copa del Rey winners. His two-year spell has been marred by poor fitness levels and a constant battle against niggling injuries.
He was involved in the 6-2 thrashing of cross town cousins Rayo Vallecano and continued his brilliant return to form against Dutch giants, Ajax Amsterdam.
Prior to this, the brilliant attacker has been touted to leave Real Madrid. However, after two poor campaigns, he is showing the signs of the player he once was. He was linked with a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan but nothing came of that.
The Brazilian fought for a place in the playing eleven following the rise of Mesut Ozil, and his decision to stay is paying off. The press and Madridista are in awe of the footballing clinic he has showcased in his league outings thus far.
Kaka has stated his love for the club. He still owes a lot to the expectant Madridista fan base. He has a point to prove at Santiago Bernabéu.
Talking to reporters, the former Rossoneri star said:
“I am indebted to Real Madrid. It would have been very easy to have left, but that is why I chose to raise my game. I have a dream of succeeding at Madrid which I want to realize."
Kaka received the Man of the Match award in the Champions League encounter against Ajax, and pointed towards tactician Jose Mourinho for his efforts.
The playmaker also noted that without the faith shown in him by president Florentino Perez, this would not have been possible.
"Many reports have claimed that Madrid wanted to sell me, but he [Perez] told me he wouldn't and kept his word," Kaka continued. "I owe a lot to the president.”
"After the game [against Ajax, Florentino] gave me a hug and congratulated me. He has always supported us, even through in bad times." He concluded.
The former AC Milan superstar arrived at Santiago Bernabéu in the summer of 2009 and was welcomed by fifty thousand Madridista. He has failed to live up to his billing thus far and it is a big reason why Real Madrid have failed to put a decent challenge
to arch-rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604. However, with his return to form, the Capital club have become an even bigger threat.
