Real Player doesn't work in my sony vegas HELP !?

Ok it's about the new real player which can download vids from Youtube and so on .. the problem is that I can't import it i Itunes , Sony vegas. The codec does't work or something. where can I a download a free video converter ? or anything that'll help like other players that I can download video's from. I had veoh but it's banned in my area soo

A lot of free converters, if they don't have a proper decoder and encoder attached will do a hatchet job to make it work.
