In a nutshell, he said fathers should not be at the birth as it is boring and all you see is a woman in pain and he could not have s*x with her for ages after until she lost weight and had to but her clothes and make up!

As for the birth itself, all you see is a horrible thing covered in blood and slime!

His advice is, take a book to the waiting room and wait until the kid was washed..........also said if his daughter got pregnant, he would slap her!

My neighbour's like that - same type of thing - she fulfilled her role in life , which was to give him a daughter. She has been a dutiful wife and the daughter is now in her late teens. the wife is slim and smart and STILL WAITING !
