Question:

Real opinions on one girl and one boy name.?

My husband have very different views on baby names..... we have agreed on only these baby names (so far).

Boy: Aiden Michael

Girl: Haleigh Addison

What do you think... take into consideration when they are older and are trying to get jobs as well as school age and not getting picked on. Thanks for any advice.

  1. I personally am not a fan of Aiden. There are too many of them running around. (Even girls) But it does flow well with Michael. I love Haleigh Addison. I have a daughter named Haley Brooke. I think it's a good wholesome name that will follow her long into her life. She's 8 now - well almost 8 - and she's so far the only Haley I've heard  in her school.  But I think Haleigh Addison is a great choice. But I honestly prefer Haley, Hailey, Haylee over Haleigh.

  2. I like both names!

If you & hubby both agree on these names, than i'd stick to them & not necessarily worry what other people think...!

You might be filled with doubt otherwise...

    Good Luck!

(Online baby name websites are great for finding spelling variations!)

  3. I like Haylee the best spelling.

Both are good names, not my favourites but nothing at all is wrong with them :)

    Besst wishes x

  4. Aidan Michael is nice, although Aidan is very popular at the moment.

Haleigh Addison is horribly trendy, I dislike it. Something classier like Helena Adelaide would age better.

  5. I don't like Aiden...  it's so very popular.  Every other person seems to be naming their child Aiden or some variation of it.  Michael is great, though.  Andrew Michael, Alexander Michael, Aaron Michael - all good names and not nearly as overused as Aiden.

I love Haleigh Addison.  My prefered spelling is Hailey.  Addison is one of my favorite names right now.

It's great that you're considering what your child's life will be like when they reach adulthood.  Too many people name their children something that's cute for a baby, but isn't very practical for an adult.

  6. Hayley Adele

    Aiden Michael

  7. Aiden is much too common anymore.

He'll be one in 5 in his class. (at least)

Adrien is nice though! And will grow with him. Aiden might sound strange on an adult.

Haleigh Addison's okay. I personally like Addison a lot more than Haleigh. Addie's a cute nickname. :-) But if you want to use Haleigh, but change the spelling, it really depends how you want to pronounce it. Haleigh is "Hal-ee." Haylee/Hayleigh are "Hey-lee." Hailey is "Hail-ee." I personally do not like "Hey-lee" at all. Hailey and Haley are the nicest in my opnion, and you can spell them Hailey, Haileigh, Hailee, Halee, Hale, Halie, Haleigh. I like I like Hailey/Hailee and Halee/Halie. Halee/Halie are definitely the most unique. For some reason the "leigh" spelling makes it look sort of childish, and might look weird if your daughter became a doctor. Dr. Hayleigh might not be taken as seriously as Dr. Halie. But that's just my opinion.

  8. I like Aiden Michael

I like the name Haleigh (best spelling!) but I am not a fan of the name Addison - sounds like a surname or a street.

Grace, Rose, Paige, Lynn, Gabrielle, Danielle, Claire, Mae, Frances, Cathryn, etc... are much prettier with Haleigh

    Hope I could help

  9. Is Haleigh pronounced Hay-lee or Hal -lee?

I like it if it is Hal-lee.

Aiden is okay But I prefer Aden...sorry.

  10. I like Aiden Michael but I really don't like the spelling of Haleigh. I like Haley, Hailey and Hayley better. Addison is cute.

  11. I think they are very nice names.. they both flow well and sounds good together as brother & sister.. I also understand with the never agreeing on names.. me and my boyfriend are the same way.. I say a name and he's like ummm no.. how about.. then I'm like heck no lol.. it can get annoying.. but I'm sure you will find the perfect names that you can agree on. good luck xo

  12. i love the name Aiden and Halle for a girl, not a fan of Haylee though (too popular) Halle Addison is beautiful and very classy! Aiden Michael sounds great too, those are my top two for you!

  13. Use the most normal spellings for names, it adds nothing to use a "unique" spelling other than making it look odd.

  14. Michael, Addison.

  15. I like them both. I'd probably go with Michael Aiden rather that Aiden Michael.

I really like Haleigh, but maybe spelt differently...Hayley? or Hayleigh? or Haylie.

  16. I like them both. I think they're older names which will stick with them nicely instead of the newer made up ones that go in and out of style. Very pretty.

  17. I like both!!! I love how you spell Haleigh! They are very classy Names!

  18. Aiden Michael is nice but so many people pair those names up it's kind of strange.

    I prefer

    Haylee Addison

    :)

  19. I like the names you have picked out, though I would go with the more traditional way to spell Haleigh. It won't be mispronounced that way.

  20. I like your choice of names and spellings.

    also like

    Quinn Aiden

    Haleigh Aura

    Quinn Michael

    Haleigh Morgan

  21. I love the name Hayley.  My daughter is Hayley Elizabeth.  Elizabeth was my mom's middle name

I do not like liegh spelling of names, but it's not my child

Haleigh Addisonis a fine name, if both love it.  It's very common,

Aiden is also very common, and spelled several different ways

I like Michael better, but Aiden Michael is fine if you both love it

I like Zayden, it's a less common form of Aiden, I think it's cool.  My husband would veto Zayden so fast.  He had different opionion on cool names

    Pick the name you love
