I would like some real accounts of people with supernatural powers. Things along the lines of Uri Gellar. I just want to hear about things that have actually been documented. Could you guys provide me with that information?

  1. Sorry,no such thing.Uri Geller by the way has been exposed as a fraud many times.I saw Johnny Carson,of all people,do it on the Tonight show. You can probably find it on the net somewhere. It's true many claim to have superpowers. They're either lying or delusional.Watch out for the liars. They can cause you trouble.

  2. Inge Bardor,Yang Li ,Hu Lian ,just to name a few, at this

time, China may be in the forefront of Psi research. The Chinese investigators have no pre-set notions of what is possible or impossible. Instead of treating their subjects like frauds when they exhibit psi abilities, they treat them like the special and advanced human beings they are. A psychic meets nothing but discouragement and disparagement in the West, and widespread approval and delight in China..

Dr. George Rodonaia (one of the most extended cases of a “clinical near death experience” ever recorded)

  3. I thought you were serious, but then you mentioned Uri Geller.  Everyone knows he's a fraud, so if you want to pull off your joke question you should make it less obvious next time.

  4. I looked for this same thing most of my young life and still have yet to find any believable, even remotely verifiable non-quack claims, short of a person who was simply delusional/psychotic--check out the late Betty Hill's ufo abduction claims, her late husband Barney's genital burn/warts, the Amityville horror hoax (read up on the later life of George and Kathleen Lutz to find out what I mean) or check out the debunking of the "courthouse ghost light" recently on youtube.

If these don't dissapoint you enough check out the Skeptical Inquirer--a publication of the Council for Inquiry--which applies pure science to paranormal claims, among other things!  Lots of good stuff there--but sorry--no real ghosts!

  5. Geller was a proven fraud.

There is no "supernatural", get a grip!

  6. by definition something that is supernatural is "better" than natural, and if something is acually documented as such is only natural.  people should stop using such words as supernatural without knowing the actual meaning of the word

  7. "Real true to life accounts of people with supernatural powers" is a contradiction in terms. In controlled tests, nobody has ever exhibited supernatural powers. It's all unsubstantiated stories and beliefs. That's about as real as it gets.

  8. i don't have supernatural powers but if i did i would love to levitate

  9. I have the ability to move my hands using only my mind.

  10. Daniel Dunglas (DD) Home is interesting. He may have been a magician but he was never exposed and his tricks would rival if not surpass those presented today.

The claims are highly controversial (I suppose because evil communist scientist performed them) but Nina Kulgina is another interesting person that is said to have had the ability to move things with only her mind when observed by scientist under strict controlled conditions. True this can be done by magicians but probably not after the strip search by KGB guards.
