tomarrow i ment to go to court,just a hearing,but im down with the flu, i really cant do much at all.n i was told if i pay what i had to b4 the hearing,they can change the date,but im worried that if i dont go they can bring police out, just 3 times they said i was a week later with my rent..what can i do..can the police come out if i tell them i cant make it till another date till my flu is better?please help

Go to court or they will win by default! It is that simple.

If you don't go they will win by default and can ask for immediate possession of the property.  If you are so worried, pay today before court and you can stay at home in bed.  Otherwise you will be looking for a new home very quickly.

You need to go.  It sounds like you already know that you won't be going.  Fax and call the court.  Just like school, they may want a note from a doctor. /

Load yourself up on antihistamines, decongestants, painkillers ... whatever kind of OTC medication will make you feel better or at least cover up your symptoms ... and then GET TO COURT.

If you don't go, you lose your home. It's as simple as that.
