  1. there are fundamental flaws in this belief.

the cat is dead or alive regardless

  2. do something nobody thinks you would and change what they thought was reality. but in reality, everything you or anybody does or doesn't do, affects reality. This is why, if time travel ever is accomplished, we will have to be so very careful when we are in the past. Even the killing of an insect may change the reality of the present, or at that time the future. So be careful what you do, you may change someones future by your actions today.

  3. We are constantly affecting reality. What we can imagine can happen. The more we think about something the more likely it will happen. The more people who think about it, it becomes more likely to happen. Thoughts precede actions. Being on-line is affecting reality and interacting with others on-line is changing our perceptions of reality. Our thoughts connect us all and create our reality.

  4. There's a very simple way to affect reality, which becomes more and more difficult for Net addicts.

    Leave your computer.

    Go outside into reality.

    Interact with it.

You will affect the course of reality.

I think I'll go do it now.

    Bye!

  5. Yes, I agree we can affect reality!  People affect reality all the time, buy drinking alcohol, and doing drugs!!!

  6. Reality is definitely affected by our observation of it, and it can be manipulated as well. I haven't see the movie you referred to, but I'll check it out. A cool short video you may also be interested in, is a documentary of the late Robert Anton Wilson (called Maybe Logic: The Lives and Ideas of Robert Anton Wilson). And I think it's a fascinating subject, that extends far beyond the power of the mind to include our perception of reality and our human potential.

  7. Can we change it or are we just following a script that was written years before we were born?

If we make one decision over another are we changing reality or are we verifying it?

    Makes my head hurt

  8. is reality a reality or are u just insane and think your reading my message

  9. Yes I believe that you can affect reality.

  10. imagin...means to image in, or to call an image into reality...which at one time humans could do commonly...

another good flick is "what dreams may come" with robbin williams.

  11. My particular reality happens to reside entirely in my perceptions ("head").  So whether I can affect it is a matter of free will.  Free will is highly debated and I'm afraid I haven't taken a stance on it yet.

So now I'm going to change my reality by clicking the 'submit' button ;)

  12. I've seen that film.

    It's about Quantum Physics.

    It's quite good.

According to quantum physics, you can choose your realisation.

Everything is far too uncertain but one realisation must occur.

Keep in mind, it's about string theory.

String theory is still in competition with the Standard Model.

So far String Theory has not been proved.

@eri: I assume you are a firm believer of the standard model. It's not about yelling at it though.

  13. yes of course, our individual perception of reality is different,

this question answers is a good example of how, just by perception  we can affect reality .

  14. It's bullshit.  You can't change the molecular structure of water by yelling at it.  They got quantum physics completely wrong.

It should have tipped you off when you found out that the producer claims to channel a 10,000 year old caveman named Ramtha.

  15. According to Einstein you can. Reality, in theory,  is affected by the observation of it. One persons reality is different from another's when they are viewing it from a different angle, lighting, perspective - it's not absolute. The light that we see from distant stars and galaxies for example is deceptive - the light from a visible star can be bent by gravity from another to make it appear where it isn't...... In addition to the light already being millions of years old by the time it gets to us.

  16. yes of course we can affect reality.

Reality is subjective... depending entirely on the perspective of the individual...

it is about perspective and perception.

  17. Haven't seen the movie, heard all about it though.  I believe that the mind is a POWERFUL tool, and capable of doing things we cannot fathom (hence why we haven't progressed)!  Good for you for being open minded and open to new ideas and alternative ways of thinking.
