It had a few people competing for 50,000 dollars i think it started with an S. It had a girl on there that was never kissed.

and one of the stunts delt with jumping on huge red balls.

I am sure you are thinking of Wipeout, which was a new show for ABC this summer. This show was basically a ripoff of the Japanese show MXC on the Spike channel.

It's Wipeout!  The huge red balls is the obstacle that people always remember about this show!  :)
