Realizing what's in front of you?

when you see a spider you don’t recognize you still kill it or ignore it, without even realizing it could of be an unknown/new species or a supposedly extinct spider? bug? insect?

same goes with bigger animals???

i mean you are aware that you probably haven’t seen all animals known in our animal recored right? (meaning animals that are not in cryptozoology) well has it occurred to you that you may have seen an unknown species or an supposedly extinct creature with out even knowing it, which you assume it’s in zoos or in animal record..... you most likely won’t be able to tell if it’s a living fossil, cause we don’t know how the other "supposedly" extinct creatures really looked like. :)

  1. I personally don't kill anything unless I have to.  Spiders I leave alone, unless it is a black widow or brown recluse, and yes I know those species.

However, your hypothesis that a person may be killing an endangered species is rather far reaching.  It would be impossible to conceive of an endangered species in the homes and yards on most people.  So, your question is reaching way out there.

The majority of people have no idea the number of species of a particular animal or plant.  In this forum you are always seeing questions that are vague because people assume there is an only one kinda of animal and it represents all animals of that type.  People just are not aware there are thousands of species of some animals and there is no such thing as an average one.

Surely you are not suggesting people know all the life forms that they come in contact with.  Perhaps you would just prefer people not kill animals.  Which is impossible.
