Really Sore b*****s/Nipples, Whilst And After Breastfeeding???

Question

Ok so i my baby boy Oliver was born on the 8th August, im breastfeeding him, but my nipples and b*****s seem to be really sore!

I have twin girls who i breastfed and i had no problems??

I'm definitely not an expert on breastfeeding, but maybe it's something to do with hormones? Post pregnancy they change a lot and it might cause for your beasts/nipples to be sore.

I had pain for the first few weeks and probably should have seen a lactation consultant. It does tend to hurt to start with, have heard its normal til your nipples toughen up. Lanolin cream does help. Not sure what else, maybe you got lucky with your twins.

It is very normal. Do make sure he is latching on right though. If they are really sore you can try applying some cream such as Lansinoh to make it feel better. Good luck and congratulations!

You breastfed twin girls and didn't have any nipple/breast pain? Wow. Pain is pretty much guaranteed with breastfeeding.
