  1. Yeah I would stick to the olive oil thing, only because it's natural.. When applying it to the cradle cap be very gentle just like massaging baby.. It'll take time but if you continue to use the olive oil you'll be right i use to use olive oil on my babies...4 Dry skin & cradle cap worked a charm on them.

  2. My daughter had it really bad when she was only like 3 4 months and i used the baby Aveeno shampoo and lotion.. it took it off right away

  3. My baby had it really bad too, what i did was wash his hair with baby oil and in the morning just brush his hair and it comes out soooo easy!

Also what prevents it is rubibng moisturiser on there face every morning...

Dont put anythin in the bath, i found it went away when he didnt have any soaps

  4. my baby had it super bad all over his head. his doc told me to use head and shoulders every third time i washed his hair.  and to put baby oil on his head and scrub it gently with a soft toothbrush.  after 1 time it was sooo much better, and it almost went away by the second or third time( i did it about once a week).  plus my baby loved it!!!  i guess it was like a little baby scalp massage!!!

  5. olivia also had it terribly. i tried everything and nothing would shake it...finally i just oiled it every other day and combed out the flakes. that was the only thing that helped. i finally just left it alone and sure enough it went away. now i only wash her hair every other to every two days...

  6. it may be in ur water water can sometimes dry skin out really bad just use lotion for that ur baby's cradle cap well u could do the baby oil thing and then come it out after that put lotion on their head that helped with my twins

  7. My son had cradle cap really bad....what we did and it worked was used head and shoulders shampoo..now you have to be careful not to get it in babies eyes so do it carefully. The Dr recommeded this because it wasn't going away. Once you have the shampoo on babies head use a comb and just comb babies head. The stuff comes off like you wouldn't believe. It took us forever to figure this out~ but after 3 times of this while he was bathing - and viola! It went away...and hasn't come back! YAY.

Good luck...that stuff is nasty and it stinks. I hated it.

  8. Ok, this might sound odd but it works. Get a cotton ball and soak it in olive oil.  Rub the oil on your babys head and let it soak in.  Keep repeating all day and at night before his bath do it again and very gently use an old toothbrush to scrape it off.  Do this for 2-3 days and its gone.  OH and olive oil is great on the skin!!!

Do it throughout the day and scrape very gently before bath and then use baby shampoo to get the grease off.  Then start again the next morning and do the same.  Dont scrub too hard or it will bleed but just very gently to start lifting it off.  Do it like if you were brushing his hair with the toothbrush.  If you do it lightly it wont hurt him at all and will not bleed.

And yes directly on his head, the cotton ball helps so it doesnt drip all over him but you can rub it in with your hands if you want too.
