Really bad migraines?

I've been having bad migraines for the past week, I was on my period when they started but my period stopped today and I'm still having them off and on... right now I feel great but in ten minutes I could feel awful... it gets to the point where I'm sick to my stomach, and the other day I blew my nose and there was dried blood on the tissue... is this normal for migraines? Do you think its just because i was on my period and am coming off of it? Do they make medication for migraines? (I've never really had to deal with head aches)

  1. There are various medicines your doctor can recommend. I just recently started getting migraines. I went to my doctor and realized what triggered them. Some things that trigger them for me is: peanut butter, strong scents, wines, and my period. With cutting some of the triggers out or limiting them has help drastically. I had to switch birth controls (to one that only lets me have them 4x a year) so that they would lessen. Hope it helps!

  2. I too experience very bad migraines. I usually get them around my menstrual  cycle. My doctor prescribed me Imitrex and Ultracet. The Ultracet helps get rid of it, and the Imitrex keeps it away. It is a very good combination for me.

  3. Go to the DOCTOR!!!
