Really blood shot eyes?

i stay o the computer and read long hours a day and don't get a lot of sleep, so i have very blood shot eyes, what can i do to fix it? its really bad. what should i do??

Buy some preservative-free artificial tears and place them in  your eye four times a day or more.  Take a break from the computer every 20 minutes or so to look up and around and rest your eyes.  Make sure you have the proper correction, if required, in your glasses.  One way to determine if the muscles are being overworked is to look up into the distance after having looked at the screen for an hour or two and see if the eye is slow to refocus in the distance.  If so, you may require some computer glasses.  The eyes aren't designed to stare at a computer screen all day.
