Really cliched phrases used in poetry?

can you tell me some? and no, theyre not for a poem.

As easy to see as his pane

That is sooo cliched, I dunno how many times I've heard it. Is that what you meant by cliched? (am not sure =)

Any phrase you can come up with is cliche` to some extent.  There is absolutely no way to write a phrase that has not been used somewhere before.  I am really tired of hearing the term "Too Cliche`"  That in itself has become a worn out cliche`.
