Really cool spaceships to fight future wars.?

Question

Do anybody think that in yhe future well will use spaceships to fight interstellar wars like in star wars, Battlestar Galactica or like in the Honor Harrington series

Well since there is no "proof" to prove that their are aliens, their is no point in funding to make them. And when aliens suddenly kill everyone, i really dont know.

Ill give it a few thousand years. But before you can fight you need an enemy. As of yet no "enemies" or "allies" have been found. So keep dreaming.

There may be "aliens" that humans on Earth may battle with sometime in the future.

If Mankind ever begins to colonize the Moon, Mars, various moons or space habitats there may come a time when the colonies are primarily people who were born on them. This could lead to colonies wishing to become independent "nations."

If the country who sponsored the colony disagreed with that desire it could lead to armed confrontation similar to a civil war.

As for what the spacescraft would look like, I would suspect that you would not see many single person fighters like in Starwars or Battlestar Galactica, they would not be very efficient. Mass to thrust ratio would be mostly dominated by the propulsion and life support systems leaving little left for weapons.

The bulk of the spacecraft used would probably be bombers/missle launchers and personnel carriers for combat forces. They would not be elegant because they would be cheaper to build and in space you don't have to worry about form only function.

There aren't any aliens to fight most likely, and we wouldn't fight ourselves, so no.
