  1. You are right, checking the cervix can be confusing.

Checking your cervix is part of testing your fertility. The cervix and the cervical mucus can provide useful information about your state of fertility because it undergoes remarkable changes throughout the fertility cycle. These changes are sometimes used to double-check observations made through checking BBT and cervical fluid. You can feel your cervix by gently inserting one or two fingers into the v****a and palpating the cervix at the end of the v****a. Prior to and after ovulation, the cervix feels firm, low, closed, and dry. Around the time of ovulation, the cervix feels soft, high, open, and wet. In addition, there is typical egg-white consistency mucus (EWCM), which is stretchy and is associated with ovulation. You cannot diagnose a pregnancy early on from examining the cervix, because these changes are too subtle to pick up and usually do not appear until well after you miss your period.

  2. Hi.. dont loose hope [=..

I was wondering if you or any one could tell me how you know the position of your cervix? that confuses me?!

ne way! dont give up f its not your month theres always next month! I know its a long process!

    good luck

  3. i am not too knowledgeable about 8 dpo or the hcg im sure i have heard it but not sure. anyways dont get too discouraged about it. dont abandoned all hope although it would not hurt to wait a little to have s*x.but im sure you know that the more s*x you have the less chance to get pregnant and vise versa. i hope this helps a little

  4. as my doctor told me, don't stress yourself with ovulation monitors, basal temperature readings etc.

have s*x often, roll over and go to sleep.  don't think about it.  it worked for us!

    good luck!
