  1. If you're into Chinese food, Happy Seven and New Sky (both on Spadina, in between College and Dundas) are both excellent.  For Happy Seven, the General Tao's chicken is a MUST - best in the city.  New Sky has some excellent Mustard Leaf and Salt Egg soup.  But, both are all-around great.

If you want something exotic, but not Asian, try The Sultan's Tent, on Front St. for Moroccan food.  Really tasty, not spicy, amazing portions, and belly dancing shows nightly (not hokey or cheesy at all).  They do a 4-course prix fixe in the main room, and an a la carte menu in the Cafe Moroc bistro at the front.  Highly recommend reserving in advance.

    Enjoy

  2. Do you know how many asian restaurants there are in T.O?! Please dont go the the Mandarin or Walk with Yu, those places are comparable to a pig troff and its a shame someone would recommend them givin all the good Asian cuisine we have. Go somewhere in china town like the bright pearl for dumplings or dim sum. "Japango" or "Hiro" for sushi. Lai Wah Heen is a fancy place for dim sum and rated one of the better in North America. I also recommend Mother's Dumplings in china town. Just look up these restaurants online to find where they are. Goodluck!

  3. Hmmm, I live in Toronto too! There's Mandarin, Wok with Yu, and there are some restaurants in TNT supermarket.
