id really appreciate this. i have to build a house that costs $9000 exactly. It costs $200 for a first level room, and then $400 for the second level room, then $600 for the 3rd level room etc.. You can only have 5 levels, but use as many rooms as you want. It costs $100 to paint an OUTSIDE wall section. and $300 for external ROOF sections. It costs $200 for every room that has to be carpeted.

ive tried everything i can. can anyone give me some clues?

thank you!!

  2. so whats the question? lol

  3. The formulation is a bit ambiguous.

Is it mandatory to have 5 levels? What are wall and roof sections? Do you need the same number of rooms in each level?

  4. Two things I don't get:

    1) What determines how many "roof sections" you need?  It would seem to me that the roof would be the same regardless of how many levels you have or how many rooms you have built inside.

    2) Similarly, how is the number of "outside wall sections" determined from the number of rooms?
