Really important question.?

This is complicated so please bear with me.

Recently I want to find out whether something I have suspected for a while is true or not, because doubting this person, I know is not doing me any good. And, it's really irritating me now to know the truth. For this reason, would it be acceptable to hire a Private detective/investigator to find out the truth for me, because I do believe that would be classed as 'spying' which we as Muslims have been warned against doing.

However, the truth would be good to know for all concerned, and not knowing is causing us grief, misunderstandings and difficulties.

But would these reasons alone justify hiring a detective? Would I be committing a Sin by doing so? Really need advice. Jazak'Allahu kairun.

  2. you mean somebody to think and make decisions at your place?

hmm, well, if you have no brain, Islamcally you are not supposed to believe in anything, cuz your putting yourself in the row of lunatics and mentally challenged.

  3. You haven't explained what the problem is, just your conceived need in knowing an answer. Can't you ask Allah about it? I can ask my God Jesus Christ, and He expect me to have faith that all things are working out for my good.

  4. In Islam certain person's evidence are not acceptable:

example, evidence from, one indulging in unsavoury deeds, ect...

Necessary to obtain the answers for all your questions from the Imam at Masjid.

Until you have a discussion with the Imam...

Let your patience be an anti-toxn to all mishaps!

  5. Muhammed would have hired a detective if it had suited his purpose.

  6. could you possibly talk to this person? tell them your doubt, ask them to be honest youll also have to be honest, tell them what led you to doubt them etc

  7. All this depends on the kind of problem you have.

Your best bet is to speak to your local Imam. He will advise you.

  8. if this said persons got nothing to hide then whats the problem?

  9. No, because there is a greater good involved.....By the way, in islam, as soon as possible all misunderstandings should be removed. But I  think it also depends on the case......In fact, what is meant by spying in islam is more focused on a situation whereby a muslim spies on another person to cause the former some bad things/sufferings/blackmailing etc....

Anyway, Allah knows best.....Try to ask a scholar.....

    Wassalaa!
