Really irritated eyes?

okay, at first it thought it was just because of allergies.. but now i dont think so. my eyes keep getting red and irritated almost everyday, at first it happened a lot in one day but now it happens like every other day. they get really itchy and then you know the corner of your eye the red part, that gets swollen and then they get red and irritated, im really scared.. what could it be?

sounds like it's time to visit the optometrist....

do you wear contacts? rgp or soft?  when's the last time you did an enzymatic cleaning or changed them?

do you get crusties (dried discharge) on your eye when you wake up in the morning?

have you noticed increased sensitivity to light?

are your eyes tearing up?
