1. Breathing issues. Have him get some of those nose strips that you put on your nose to open your airway through his nose!

  2. tke him to the drs

  3. People who snore often have too much throat and nasal tissue, or “floppy” tissue that is more prone to vibrate.

The position of the tongue can also get in the way of smooth breathing.

Evaluating how and when he snores will help you pinpoint whether the cause of his snoring is within control or not.

    If he snores

With his mouth closed: a problem with the tongue is probably the culprit

With his mouth open: snoring is likely related to the tissues in his throat

Only on his back: snoring is probably mild

    – improved sleep habits and lifestyle changes may be effective cures

In all sleep positions: snoring is more severe and may require a more comprehensive treatment

try some simple non-invasive treatments first to see if they will reduce or prevent snoring.

    Sleep on your side

Elevate the head of your bed

    Limit alcohol and medications

    Clear your nasal passages

    Lose weight

he may find that his snoring persists even after trying these changes. If his snoring results from a more serious cause, a cure may be more complex – but there are solutions.

If his own efforts to stop snoring do not help, he should consult his physician or an otolaryngologist (ENT, or ear, nose, and throat doctor). If he chooses to try a dental appliance for snoring, he will need to see a dentist specializing in these devices.

  4. There are several reason why some one snores extremely loud and i can name two of the problems for you. One he might need his tonsils removed the other he might have something called sleep apnea. My dad had the same problem and as a kid i had little to no sleep myself. My dad had his tonsils removed and he was diagnose with sleep apnea.

  5. There is this new thing that they put in their mouth to open the air passage ways. Try to look it up online

  6. tell him he needs to visit a sleep doctor. if he's snoring that bad he probably has sleep apnea which can be very dangerous. he will probably need a c-pap machine if it's really bad.

  7. When it is as bad as you say Dad needs to speak to a doctor, it is likely he needs to loose wieght and might even benefit from a simple medical procedure to open blocked nasal passages, but let a pro help ,, that is the best Rx

  8. he should try the breathe right strips or sew marbles into the front of his pjs

he shouldnt sleep on his stomach but sideways..........feel for ya

  9. there is no cure for snoring. tell him to check with his doc. maybe buy a triples. so you can sleep on one floor and u'r mom on one and put u'r dad in the basement. only to sleep. it's a good invesmetn too over the long run.

good luck. i don't sleep either but that cuz i decided to continue our speices

  10. You could get your Dad a Slumber Guard.

  11. He may have a form of sleep apnea. He should take a trip to the doctor to rule it out. I'd start there =)

  12. you might need to clean your nose you have to get a baby nostrel thind shove it up your nose and sques it comes out of the other nostreal.

  13. It is very likely that he has sleep apnea. I would go to your doctor about it and they can find the best cure for you, there's mouth pieces, surgeries, masks and other stuff that can be done depending on how bad it is and what kind he has.

  14. put him in a soundproof room at night.....

  15. Snoring this loud is called "heroic snoring" and it has been linked to 67% higher risk of stroke. He can try eliminating milk from his diet. Many people who snore this loudly have sensitivities to dairy.

  16. his nostrils are probably full of mucus or closed up too much. also there are nasil strips they supposedly help.
