Really low cost study abroad?

I am a high schooler.

PLEASE???

I am poor. I work for $4/hour cleaning dishes. I dont know where I am suppose to get 6,000 for next year.

Please dont suggest wainting. just please give me some names of companies.

  1. Many exchange programs offer scholarships. However, if you are wanting to go next year, you should have already applied. Most scholarship deadlines are around November-December for the next school year.

    You might also look into the Rotary Youth Exchange. It is considerably cheaper, but more competitive. You can find a local Rotary Club member (or Interact High School Club) or go to this site:

    One thing to be aware of ... if it's too cheap ... it's probably not a safe program (outside of Rotary)!

    And, although you didn't WANT the suggestion of waiting, perhaps finding a better job ($4/hour isn't even minimum wage!) and saving some money on your own.
