  1. Do more muscle leg stretches

Drink more water to calm yourself down

  2. idk what she was taking about.. this isn't the horese site!! lol anyway- track should just be about fun, and more a competion for yourself to get better and better. it depend on if your a sprinter or if you're into long distance running. for sprinters you just run all out at are usually half or 1/4 of a track- very short! the 400 (1lap around) is semi-short. you need to make sure your legs and ankels get stretched out really good. for your leg take one leg and bend it back while standing another one is to stretch out your hamstring you spread your legs apart while standing and reach down to the middle and both your legs. for you ankels keep it loose by rolling it around and pulling it up. im sure you coach will tell you somemore. because there are alot!

    good luck =]

  3. This is the horse site Not for track and field

But any way I run allot when I was young

Do what you said take deep breaths and relax

focus and run your heart out

    good luck

  4. well in my first year i jus followed a close friend untill i got more comfortable with the my other teammates and u should stretch in practice

  5. once you get up to the startin line, (sorry to tell you this), the nervousy takes most people over. make sure you use the bathroom a lot before your race because no matter how you much you didnt have to use the bathrrom before, you will just about wet yourself when youre about to run. if you are not sure what to do or are confused, find a more experienced athlete on your team to help you out. the big thing is to beat your personal best. as long as you are getting better, that's all that matters.
