  1. Yeah I agree with woody!

  2. if that last word says pregnant, no, she isn't.

The first thing you need to know is NOT to try and forcefeed him ANY LIQUIDS!! birds can not be force fed a liquid. Go to a pet store and ask for the best bird seed for a sick bird. After you have that, take a small peice of the seed and place it in his mouth, holding him up so he doesnt have to stand. He may swallow it, he may not. You can not do anything about this.

Next thing to do is to take the box with the pigeon in it inside, to a quiet place, preferably somewhere where you spend most of your time so you can check on him, that isn't extremely warm.

He may be dieing, and if he is, you dont have a good chance of saving him. Wild birds are extremely hard to care for. The rest you can do is get a book on wild birds and caring for them from the pet store. Here is a number to call, and they will PERSONALLY GUIDE YOU THROUGH WHAT TO DO. (519)471-1560. if there is no answer, you can call their office, (519)432-7341

Also, I may be able to guide you through this if you cannot contact them. Add me on msn if you have it, tanya-xo@live.ca or email me there.

    Good luck!!

  3. Take him/her to the RSPCA see  what they have to say, there the experts.

  4. If i found a sick pigeon that did that stuff like that i would be quite worried. But i'll probaly take it to the vets. You could ask the vet if he/she could

check on the pigeon or keep it overnight and tell you what's wrong.

  5. Just take him to the vet, it'll be free.  I once took a pigeon to the vet and he was just dehydrated so they let me take him home again for a little tlc.

  6. I hate to say this, but it honestly sounds like it might be a little too late for you to try and save him. If he isn't eating or drinking on his own there isn't too much you can do. I would try to make him drink a little water by gently putting his beak in the water, if he doesn't react to it don't leave his beak there, otherwise if he is thirsty he will start drinking. I would recommend taking him to a vet as they would know exactly what is best to be done in his situation. Sorry for the bad news.
