So a few weeks ago I had a dream that I was wondering around my house and found a hidden house attached to my house. I searched the rooms and in the master bedroom there was a closet full of wedding dresses, and I was so happy. And there was a huge hall like room decorated like there was going to be a wedding, the dream was so great I kept shutting off my alarm to dream more.

Then two nights ago I dreamed that I was in that hidden house again, in the same master bedroom but all the dresses were gone and I couldn't find the hall, I was really upset and then all my teeth started falling out and I was choking on them! This dream terrified me!!!

Im in the process of getting my engagement ring.....do you think this dream is a bad omen? why would I have such a wonderful dream and then a horrible one a few weeks later?

  1. It's only natural, because there is a part of you that has a fear that something is going to go wrong. I just got married in April and the closer the wedding got, the more crazy dreams I had...I had dreams that they took my wedding cake to the wrong reception, that I forgot to order my flowers until the day of the wedding...all sorts of crazy things....it's just your subconscious worrying about things going wrong. Trust me when I tell you that my wedding had a few things that weren't exactly how I had pictured, but if you will learn to relax and take each little obsticle as a learning experience, you will be better off. No wedding is perfect....something will happen...but as long as the two of you are married, in the end that will be all that matters to you. (my wedding cake fell apart the night before and my cake lady was up until 4:00 a.m. making a new one, fortunately she did NOT tell me until after the wedding) Take deep breaths, you've got a ways to go....don't worry about every little thing...things will be great! Best wishes and congratulations!

  2. According to a dream analysis website, as to the teeth, (Dream Moods Dictionary), either your health or something else in your life is in jeopardy, or you have uttered bad or foul words to someone and it is coming back to haunt you.

I know from experience that dreams really are a manifest of something inside you.  For example, during most of my first marriage (10 years), I would always have very bad nightmares, mostly of being chased and I wasn't able to move, or being stuck in something and not able to get away.  While I was awake I really thought I was happy.  After I left him I would still have those nightmares, no matter who I was with (but not as often and not as violent).  But after meeting the man who was to become my 2nd (and final, by the way) husband, those dreams suddenly stopped and I have never had them again.  It wasn't until then that I realized that those nightmares meant that I was stuck in a bad relationship that I felt I couldn't get out of (I had been afraid to leave him - I guess it was a fear of failure that kept me in that relationship).

Ever since then, I really pay attention to bad dreams because I know that they are a way to bring to my attention issues that need to be dealt with.

So - - get your health checked out first, and then sit down and figure out if the marriage you are about to enter into is solid, not only from your end but from his end as well.  I wouldn't mention the dream to him because guys don't think on those levels and he'll just brush it off as "just a dream".

    Be careful, and good luck!!

  5. The first dream with the attached house is a good meaning. It means you are growing, ie. expanding in some area of your life. You seem to have a positive outlook on your upcoming marriage.

The second dream I believe is less symbolic, it is called wedding planning jitters! It happens to a lot of brides, and it happened to me. You want the wedding to be perfect and spend much of your waking time going over the details. Its only natural for your brain to sort of "throw up" at night over this. Expect more of these "wedding nightmares" but dont let them scare you.

The teeth falling out often signals a physical insecurity you might have: that you might have a zit on the day, that you dont like the way you look, etc.

Dream interpretation is a hobby of mine.

  6. not sure about the wedding dresses, but if youre engaged to be married, that may be the reason.  as for your teeth falling out...you might look into some personal physical health matters.

  7. as far as the teeth falling out, it could represent being upset about not having the dress choice anymore

as far as having all those dresses and then poof they're gone, i would take that as a sign that if you find the right one, grab it then, don't procrastinate.

  8. Apparently, different people interpret the teeth falling out dream different ways.  I always heard it meant wealth was coming your way (teeth falling out=tooth fairy=money), but this link I'm including has a bunch of possibilities, including the money one.

I think the wedding dresses in the closet in your first dream just symbolized your upcoming marriage and how happy you are.  In the next dream, when the dresses were all gone, to me that suggests a kind of anxiety about getting married on your part.  That's totally normal, though- I mean, it's not a commitment to be taken lightly!  HEre's a link about wedding dress dreams.  Good luck!
