Really ugly scar on knee.. read in detaill...?

I had stitches on my knee because i was running and i fell and hurt it really bad, while i had the stitches they came out because i tripped.. the docter wanted the wound to heal by itself. now i have a scar tht looks kinda like a bruise on my knee.. i would like to wear skirts and short dresses... but i feel so embaressed because of my knee...

any suggestions?..

just don't worry about it that much, I have a huge scar on my thigh from where I got cleated during soccer.

Use something like E45 cream, or Bio-Oil. Don't worry, I had an operation on my knee about 4 months ago, and have a pretty big scar running down the side of my knee. My consultant said it will gradually go over time - maybe even years. But my physiotherapist said if you rub moisturiser in it every night, it should make the skin around the scar softer and means the skin can heal evenly and cleanly over the top.

depends on how long ago you did it. I did something similar about 3 weeks ago> I did not need stitches. It was across the top of my knee. I kept it clean and apply mosturizer to it all the time. Antiobiotic ointment when it first happened.  Not sure why it is looking like a bruise. Is there maybe still a bruise under it?

Until it is all gone. You may put a little concealer on it .... Not a lot. But a color of foundation that matches your skin if you are a bit. Just smooth a little in to help.
