Hello, recently I have visited Germany, and loved the country, and am considering to move there, and perhaps pursue a medical degree if that is possible.

My secondary ( finished in an non-EU country) and Bachelor degree ( finished in the USA) results are not competitive for medical school admission in Germany. My first two years results in college were excellent, but my performance in the third and forth year brought me down to a B student.

However, after graduation I began to work at a lab affiliated with a great medical school in America ( Harvard), and may begin working at another excellent medical school in Germany ( Freiburg) in the fall. If I go to studienkolleg ( College for foreign student) in Germany, and gain good result. Will I have a chance?

Thank you for your time. =)

  2. yes you can if you want you can join the military and help as a medical assistant in any country you please my brother is doing the same thing.

(they also pay for your college)

  3. You might have a chance, but thats really difficult to tell. As far as i know, 20% off all places to study medicine are distributed by ZVS strictly according to one's grades, another 20% due to how long he or she waited for it, and 60% are distributed by the universities themselves. The universities are free to choose the criterias by which to choose their students, so they can admit students based on their grades, their prior work experiences, on an interview they did with them etc.
