Hi I am looking for a really warm winter coat/jacket preferably either The North Face or Mountain Hardwear.

I would like it to cost around $200 or less if possible!!

The only problem is my body build. I have trouble with coats/jackets fitting me well in the shoulders, but too wide in the torso/waist. So I would need a coat that is able to fit a skinnier body type.

I am:

male

6'4"

  1. e-bay or cheap leather...

  2. Are you looking for a down jacket?  You should check out Backcountry.com for down jackets.  I've bought from them before, great prices, excellent customer service and quick shipping.  They carry North Face, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, and all other top brands in down jackets.

Here is a short list of North Face & Mountain Hardwear down jackets for under $200.

(Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - $164.95)

(North Face Nuptse Down Jacket - $198.95)

(North Face Aconcagua Down Jacket - $138.95)

Hope this helps, you should also check out other jacket brands on the site as well, there are some very good ones worth looking into.  Good luck!

  3. REI coats are awesome, last for a long time, and are really warm. They keep you dry in the wettest conditions. Mine is 5 years old and is still in great condition. Bought mine for $100 at 50% off.

  4. ebay!
