Really weird dream- what could it mean?

I was running on a really long road by myself, and at every house I passed, I would go inside for no reason. When I left the houses I didnt lock any of the doors back. I think I went in 5-8 houses before I turned around. When I was on my way back I rushed back in every house that I stopped in before and locked all of the doors back. I'm also pretty positive that on my way back, and only on my way back, there was a dog in every house that chased me until I was gone. When I got done, I rushed to get on a train, and then I woke up.

When people ask "what does this dream mean?" they seem to think that it's predicting the future... but that's not possible. They usually assess events that have recently been occurring, and portray them into a more cinematic format.

Assuming you were not being chased by anything...

This probably states that you have been stressed lately, and trying several methods to cope with your situations; however none of your strategies are working.

The dogs likely represent fear or anxiety that you've been experiencing... especially if you are afraid of dogs.

The train means that you are finding an escape from stress.. so stay on the tracks to success that you're on.

you are a very insecure and disconnected person.  in Jungian psychology dreaming about a house is dreaming about your"self".  you need to kill this dog and go explore the house.  do not run away ever again.  take a sobering look at why you are running and what you are running from.  this is only a problem that you can tackle.  best of luck.
