Realplayer says I do not have enough disk space to install an update.?

Yet my hard disk is about 80 gb and is 63gb empty.

what is going wrong here,.??

  1. maybe you need to clean it and defragment


  2. Do you have more than one hard-disk or logical disk drive (multiple drive partitions/letters)? It could C:\ is near full-up.

    Under the default settings, RealPlayer is installed in C:\Program Files\Real.

    The other possibility is that you are using an user account without certain systems privileges (read/write in certain DIRs).  

  3. It might be the disk is full to create a restore point

    Delete old restore points.

    Disk clean-up > more options > delete restore points > WAIT untill the ok button becomes functional

    Dont worry the last restore point is saved.
