Question:

Realtor question?

I'm interested in looking for a condo. Previously I was looking for a house and I really liked my realtor, but I had to stop the search for about a year because I wasn't having any luck finding the property I wanted. Well, I thought about it some more and decided I might prefer a condo, although I haven't ruled out the "right" house.

My question is, should I use the same realtor for the condo search that I used for the home one? I came to know and trust her, but she's not an expert on condos. Would it be in my best interest to find another realtor who is, or is the process of finding and purchasing a condo similar enough to that of a house that I can continue to use my current realtor? Thanks!

  1. Ask her if she is comfortable helping you in the condo search or if she would rather refer you to another agent that might know more about them.  Plus, if that right house comes along, she knows what you are looking for.  I'd stick with her, finding a Realtor that you like and trust is a good thing.

  2. we are moving to Las Vegas and we have three realtors because they all know something different..

    one knows forclosures

    one knows new houses

and the last knws everything else

get another, it won't hurt, its your money and you need the best for you

  3. I would use the same one finding someone you trust in any career is priceless. Have her do more research. Its all int he neighborhood!
