My stomp pad fell off my board and is no longer sticky - it was custom made for me when I bought my board and I love it - is there a way to readhere it to my board so I don't have to buy a new one? I know they are cheap to buy but I love this one!

  1. Clean off both surfaces with rubbing alcohol, and use doublesided 3M tape...that way you can take it off if you get another board eventually.

    Cheers

  2. try using a very strong, waterproof epoxy or glue.  i.e. gorilla glue or krazy glue.  This will result most likely in a stomp pad that will be almost impossible to remove, but it sounds like you wouldn't mind.  Be sure to check the label of the glue and be sure it is waterproof and will adhere to the surface of your snowboard and the material your stomp pad is made of.

  3. don't use krazy glue it is garbage and gets really brittle, esp in the cold. It will come right off. Go get some Liquid Nails and put it back on. or use 2part epoxy, but keep in mind it probably won't come off too easy if you get a new board.

  4. Please don't listen to those other posts.  You will not likely be successful.  You wan to use a good quality silicone adhesive.  Clean the topsheet of the board with a citrus base cleaner or some other solvent if you don't have citrus base cleaner.  The citrus cleaner is great as it really gets any wax off.  Then use a silicone adhesive or sealer to stick your stomp pad back on.

I hear that "shoe goo" can also be used but can't personally vouch for how well it works as I always have silicone in my shop.

Good luck - and I really hope it sticks!
