Rear-ended someone?

today i accidently rear-ended someone...i was probably not even going 5 miles an hour. The guys came out of his truck and he was cussing while looking at his car so i got really really really nervous, then he was like "well nothin's wrong with my f-in car, watch the f*** where you're going. i mean, i have never done anything like that before and it really scared me and i started crying cuz i didnt know what to do, but he just let me go but i feel aweful...i mean there was nothing wrong with either of our car's so should i be so upset? my mom keeps telling me not to worry about it but i just cant...i mean am i worrying too much? please help, i feel like a terrible driver and im so scared and i dont know what to do ='(

  1. I seriously doubt there are many drivers with any experience who have never tapped another vehicle's rearend or backed into something one time or another. I know I have.

    So, try not to sweat it. The guy shouldn't have used profanity, and perhaps he should have been a little cooler, then you could have been.


  2. mmm....if he got your license plate number....he could come back to haunt you....

    If his "neck" starts to feel sore, he could call you up and claim that your rear ending caused his neck pain, and he would want you to pay for his medical bills...

    I doubt any of that will happen, but it is best you be prepared for the worst right?!

  3. I understand why that guy would be mad, but people need to try to keep it cool. You only hit him by accident. You'll get over this by learning from it and making better decisions next time.
