  1. if nova scotia joined confederation they'd get a railway built from nova scotia to the canadas so it was easyier for the nova scotians to trade!

  4. beacause they needed transportion to transport there goods to other colonies and if they didnt join confedration they would have to pay for the facilities themselves and nova scotia didnt have alott of money because they had a small population. so if they joined confedration teh goverment would have to pay for teh transportation facilites .. :)

  7. • Between 1854 and 1864, the province of Canada was changing governments very often because of the political unrest and if the people of Nova Scotia joined Confederation it would be easier to make all the important decision

    and

    • In order for their economies to do well, the colonies needed to be able to sell their goods to other markets. At this time there were very few places that they could sell to. One solution was to bring all the colonies together. In this way they could more easily sell goods to each other and maybe even export some goods to other nations because together if they export a lot of goods it would cost them less then to export good little by little.

  8. • Nova Scotia enjoyed free trade with U.S.A. since 1854 and if they joined the whole county would  trade with u.s.a and nova scotia wouldnt get everything because they would have to share with the other colonies.
