  1.   well, I can understand needing money, but taking a  job for 1 mo. and COSTING someone else the chance for that job, wasn't really nice.  I recently moved to another state, and I needed work really bad.I took a job I thought would work for me, it has been the worst mistake I have made, but I told him going in that I would like to try it for a trial period to see if I liked it, and if he was happy with my job preformance, that way had I decided to quit, he would have been prepared to hear that I just didnt feel it was working out. HOWEVER I have stuck it out for 6 mo. till a better one came along, THE right one ! now as terrible as I have been treated on that job,I still wouldnt have just quit , I gave 2 weeks notice, so he could find someone to replace me. with you only PLANING to work a mo. and  then quiting a week before the mo.is up you really arent being fair to the employer. There isnt any good answer, other than the truth. might be difficult, but just explain that you really needed the money, and that what you did was wrong, and that you are sorry.

  2. Be honest, there is no need to make anything up.  Did they ask if you were going to UNI, if not say "you didnt ask me if i was going to school"

  3. You could tell them the truth...

Or you could just make something up. Tell them something has come up and you need to leave, apologise. If they ask what it is, tell them it's a family emergency. Or come up with something specific that you can't get out of and they can't argue with.

I started a job at the start of the month, I lasted 2 days, I called in sick on my third day, then at the end of the day, I just told them I wasn't coming back. If you need to keep things good with them, then you'll have to make something good up, otherwise, you could just tell them it's not the right job for you or something. There's always ways around it!
