Reason for the colour of my eyes?

How come one of my eyes are grey-ish blue and the other one is half grey-ish blue but half brown...but yet the brown half changes colour sometimes into green or yellow?

Any reasons anyone can think of?

Thanks (:

  1. seems that you have pretty eyes, lol.

it is all revolving around your genes.

  2. ooo mine are like that to! i dont know why but we are special embrass it!

  3.      It all has to do with chromosomes in your DNA, you get some from one parent and some from another. so somewhere along the line in both sides of your family tree two people had your color eyes and now you have themn too!

  4. It's about melanin, and the sun can change the color. My eyes in winter are green in summer they're light blue.

  5. the yellow is actually a pale brown. mine go that colour when i have been in almost pitch black darkness and come into light. its to do with which part of the iris muscle is contracted, and therefore hidden by the other layers. The colour of these fibres is determined by a genetic predisposition.

  6. Well, Alice, it might be due to the incorrect mixing of genes which control eye color. One of your parents has blue eyes and the other one has brown eyes. The green or yellow color is just a mirage (Or you are a mutant). No offense to anyone intended.
