    mine 2 please

  2. I think 10pm is reasonable. When i was 13 my bedtime was 7.00pm. Now thats too early.

  3. School nights, when I was 13, I went to bed at 2am. I know that's bad haha. But since I've been going to bed at midnight I've felt a lot happier and had a better overall school year. When I was 13 I didn't think of the consequences.

  4. Hard questionto anser !! You can't just pop a number like that guyz... every body needs a certain amount of sleep... as i read in a book...some need 12 others need 6 some even get enough out of 3 hours of sleep !!! But the average body rests about 8 hours !! so calculate what time yo wake up and get your 8 hours of sleep... if you'r still sleepy add more... if you feel its a lot thn less :) parents don't want you to get tired the next morning so they give you an early bed time... hope i helpd :) and ill leav you with a silly quote my mom used tell me :) " Early 2 bed early to wake... makes a lady smart pretty and gr8 ..."

  5. Id say 10 o clock is about right

  6. I really think it depends on what you are doing and what your body is like.  If you are just watching TV or playing computer games or something like that, you may not realise you are tired.  If you are reading, writing, doing homework, playing sport (like night time tennis), I think that's different.  Do you have trouble getting up in the morning?  Do you feel sleepy at school?  Do you have trouble concentrating?   If you do, you probably need more sleep.  On the other hand, too much sleep can be bad for you too.  Why do you want to stay up later?  If it's for something reasonable, discuss it with your parents and ask them if you can do an experiment.  Try going to bed at 10 PM for a month.  Then try a later time for a month.  See if it affects things such as getting up in the morning, school marks, tiredness through the day etc.  You may not need as much sleep as other people.  Some people don't.

  7. 10 or 11

  8. Half past nine is reasonable. 10 o'clock is too late. That's when my 15 year old sister goes to bed.

  9. It has been YEARS since I was 13, but if I remember right my bedtime was 8:30...I actually think 10 is a very reasonable bedtime.

  10. depends what time they get up the next day

    I'd say 9.

    9.30 latest

this is when my 13 year old sister goes to bed anyway!

EDIT. id say 10 is too late!

im 17 and i goto bed at 10 on a college night! haha

  11. 10pm sounds about right to me....

  12. I think 10 is absolutely fine. x

  13. 10:00 pm - Teenagers need their sleep!

  14. your parents are right, 10.00 pm.

  15. 10pm is right.

  16. In my opinion 21 hrs. i.e. 9 pm

  17. It was always 10pm for me. And to be honest, I always thought it was fair.

  18. It is not an unreasonable suggestion, nothing to stop you reading in bed for a bit.

  19. 10 is completely reasonable for anybody under 16.

You need eight hours sleep every night - if you're up at 7, you should be *asleep* by 11 - but if you're anything like I was when I was 13, it takes you a while to settle down and get to sleep - so you should be in bed reading or meditating or something else relaxing (non-electronic - TV, etc, all keep us awake) at 10.

  20. 10pm

  21. between 9 and 10pm - I think your parents are being very reasonable saying 10pm

  22. 10 - 10.30

  23. Yh i would say 10 too

  24. I would say 9;30 pm

  25. my lil sis goes at 9:30 shes the same age as you and i usaly go to bed about 10 and im 16 but i dont have o go to bed at that time its important that you get a good 8 hours sleep each and every nigth ohter wise you will be to tired to concentratein school even if you dont feel tired xx

  26. 9.30pm i think

  27. You answered your own question.

The reasonable time is whatever your parents decide is best for you.

    .

  28. Since you are 13, you need a greater amount of sleep per day than adults to develop and function properly, and this is usually 9-10 hours per night (as opposed to the adult's 8 hours).

So, depending on what time you need to wake up (note: wake up in time to get ready, have breakfast and get to school on time) you need to go to sleep at least 9 hours prior.

The time your parents gave you is very reasonable, since even if you fell asleep at 10pm on the dot you'd get 9 hours sleep and wake up at 6am. It's important for you to get enough sleep in order to be refreshed and ready for the new day, and develop your mental capabilities.

Don't fight it! Soon you'll be wishing you had more time to sleep, believe me!

  29. I agree with your parents.

  30. i suggest 9pm. wake up at 6am. You need 8hrs of sleep a day. Helps Brain Development.
