Reasonable price for senior pix? now with link to pix?

Question

Studio pictures, outdoor pictures, and dressy outdoor pictures to choose from. Package includes 2- 8x10s 4- 5x7s and 16 wallets. Prints can be of any picture you want, but wallets come in sets of 8.

$130 for all of the above.

Subtract $20 if no studio pictures are desired.

extra 8x10s- $6.00

extra 5x7s- $3.00

extra wallets- $3.88 per 8

11x14- $13.00

16x20- $20.00

MySpace, can't view. Don't understand the $20 if no studio shots. Does that mean just studio are $20? Confusing to me, sorry.

Sounds too cheap...

If you're in photography for a business, you'll never make it with those prices - unless you want to work for free for many, many hours.

Of course, no one can really tell you how those prices will work for you. You ned to figure out a few things... how much the prints cost, how much the equipment to take photos cost, maintenance, insurance, etc...  Include how much you really want to make for yourself ($ per hour). Don't look at it from a price for picture standpoint. Everyone knows you can get 4x6's at $0.29 or less or an 8x10 for under $2.00... Focus on what it costs to create the images, memories, and your unique talents and vision... those things are priceless... kwim?

You may say that people in your area can't afford more than what you list above... I'd tell you to look harder... even in your area... Remember, don't try to resell a 8x10 that you pay $2 bucks for... sell a unique experience and vision... a style that is yours and yours alone.
