  1. • Primarily, lack of updates of knowledge in farming

    • Lack of enthusiasm amongst farmers to learn more on subject

    • Lack of pathological analysis of land and crops (or knowledge of such things)

    • Extension service (of government and Agriculture collages) is almost not existing.

    • Plenty of resources; but no proper utilization

    • Marketing system is killing the farmers

    • Farmer’s children do not wish to continue in farming

    • Attitudes of “Government Officials” connected to revenue department!

    • Attitude of neighbors and thieves those survive on farm thefts

  2. There are several reasons for the declination:

    1) India emerging as an industrial has slowly reduced the attention towards agriculture from the govt.

    2) Lack of mechanised facilities

  3. A small country like Israel is producing more farm products per hectare with less water compared to Indian farm products.Similarly our farm products are well below average of most of the nations on EARTH.

The biggest reasons traditional way of farming which needed some sort of innovation.

Second biggest reason being farmer are not educated enough to take right decision to choose which crop to cultivate & how best utilise the available resources.

Again Govt. of India is not focussing enough attention towards drawing bright young minds to enter in Agriculture Discipline, thereby starving this nation of quality research needed to be done according to the different climates.

  5. Failure to read compasses correctly? Misuse of the term "declination"?

The magnetic declination (also known as grid magnetic angle in military circles) at any point on the Earth is the angle between the local magnetic field -- the direction the north end of a compass points -- and true north. The declination is positive when the magnetic north is east of true north. The term magnetic variation is equivalent, and is more often used in aeronautical and other forms of navigation. Isogonic lines are where the declination has the same value, and the lines where the declination is zero are called agonic lines.

  6. Primarily the lack of irrigation water and the reluctance of the Government to provide enough input to stimulate agriculture production.
