My personal experiences have led me to believe most of such disputes are because of one person in a position of authority not appreciating a subordinate.  This may be due to a lack of motivation on the part of one party...which is not necessarily the subordinate!  The manager may feel threatened by a superior employee and fire the better worker.

  2. Personality conflicts, lack of abilities to perform, ethical conflicts, feeling overwhelmed .... anything can turn into an employment dispute.
