Reasons not to have an abortion:?

What are some positive reasons not to have an abortion? Just wondering if they're is anything I haven't thought of.

Because it isn't your baby's fault that you had s*x when you didn't want a baby.

Because if you put your baby up for adoption, you'll be giving him life.

Because if you put your baby up for adoption, you'll be giving a child to someone who is unable to have kids of their own.

Because if you put your baby up for adoption, you can live the rest of your life guilt-free, knowing you made a healthy choice.

Because abortion is a only a temporary way out of the situation.

Because there are so many resources available for you to keep your baby.

Because you are your baby's MOTHER. It's your job to protect your baby.

Because if fear of telling your parents is part of your reason, you will honestly be SHOCKED at how supportive they'll be.

Because a crisis pregnancy center will counsel you for free on your best choice, and give you free diapers, formula, and clothing if you choose to keep your baby.

I am 19, an a fulltime college student. I thought having an abortion was my only option. I am now 24 weeks pregnant, and I'm so fortunate that God placed the right people in my life who have given me the support and strength I need to raise my baby.

I haven't even had my son yet, and I love him so much. He is my entire world. Trust me when I tell you there is no greater feeling than feeling your own baby kick in your belly.

I firmly believe when a women in crisis chooses to do the right thing, God will bless her tremendously.

because you are killing a life. A person's a person no matter how small. Get online and look at the milestone in a unborn babies life and that should help you to change your mind. at as little as six weeks they are already looking a like a little baby. Even though they are tiny they are still forming. Plus if you want to have children when your older or later on in life having a abortion changes the ability to conceive, even though it might be minuet it can still cause difficulties. Plus you will always wonder what could have been. If you do not want the baby they let someone else have the baby. Children are gift, not a burden.

EDIT: I just looked at the sites that DENISE gave and oh my goodness I can not believe my eyes. Its so easy to except things when you do not see them, but when you see it, it changes everything. I encourage you to check it out as well... and if you can still do it after watching that then you are cold hearted!

their are people in this world who can't get pregnant but would love to adopt...also they it a living thing inside of you it has a heart beat you would have to live the rest of your life knowing that you had it killed...i don't mean that in a mean way I'm just pointing out reality...good luck i hope you can make the right decision

well, it's killing your own child, for one. and the baby never asked to be conceived. plus who knows... you could be killing the next great mind of our time.

Haveing an abortion will haunt you years to come. I had one a few years ago and i have this dream every once and a while. I just died and i'm entering heaven, a small boy about 6 is just staring at me. I walk up to him and ask him, "Are you lost sweetie?" He replies to me, "I didn't think you would recognise me, you killed me before you had the chance to know my face..."

He fads and i wake up sweating.

It is a scary thing to go through when you just find out you are pregnant.  I had an abortion whenever I was 16 and I live with the regret everyday.  You sound like a responsible, grounded person..I think you would do a great job being a mommy. Abortion is a sad thing..even at eight weeks it has little fingers and toes..a heartbeat..please consider adoption over abortion..if you do not choose to raise the baby. Years later it will still haunt you.  You may think you've made peace with the decision, but it will always be there.  You'll have to write it down on any health form when you get pregnant in the future.  Who knew there could be future health complications from having one.

2. You'll feel completely depressed and guilty after the abortion takes place.

if you are in a loving relationship and have support to help you raise the child, you should consider keeping it. otherwise, it may be better to get an abortion (especially if you were raped). every time you look at that baby, you will see the other person who contributed to producing it.

b.) Women who've had abortions in the past sometimes find it harder to get pregnant when they want to later down the road.

c.) Many women who've had abortions feel uncomfortable around other peoples' children.

d.) An "embryo" or "fetus" is a life. Here's something to think about:

It's undoubtedly living (definitely not dead. It grows at a rapid rate)

It's undoubtedly individual (it's not part of the mother. It's self contained and just needs the mother for protection and nourishment-- just like an infant)

It's undboutedly unique (has its own DNA)

It's undboubtedly human (not a dog or a tree)

It's undoubtedly innocent (not responsible for the circumstances surrounding its creation, especially in cases of rape or incest)

And if you can have an abortion with a clean conscience, you've got problems.

one reason...you get to give a baby the life that you started, and the chance that he/she deserves. The baby didnt ask to be conceived so you should take resposibility for that.

You could give another couple who otherwise wouldn't be able to have a baby, the opportunity to become parents.  It's a pretty big gift and not one I could offer, but I truly respect and admire women who do it.

One reason why not to have a abortion...YOUR KILLING A BABY! Just because it isn't a full baby does not mean it isn't a baby! It is murdering in my eyes and you know what? The teens that get pregnant and get these things. That is stupid! Okay your being a w***e and doing c**p. Then What? Kill the baby because you were being immature?!
