Reasons to Go Early to Warped Tour?!?

Question

Okay, so on Friday I'm going to Warped Tour, and my dad's girlfriend, who is taking me and my friend, needs at least one good reason to go a few hours early, like we were planning on doing. I told her it's just common knowledge that you're supposed to be early, but she doesn't get it.

So does anyone have any really good reasons I could give her? She's really stubborn about this...

no reason to go early, bands don't play till later anyway

The big reason is to get a good place in line. There are a lot of people going to Warped, and it takes a while to get them all patted down and checked, etc.

If you wait in the line, it will take you a long time to get through, and the first bands start playing about 15 minutes after doors ( which is before the so-called "start time"). I missed the HorrorPops because I didn't get into the venue quick enough. :(

The lines will be VERY long, and if you want to get a good spot, you want to be there befor everybody gets too excited,  because once they do, there is almost zero chance of you getting near the front, and something that will help HER is that she can get good close parking which will be good at the end when you are all tired

well if your going where u live local bands play first and early so maybe u can see some bands from your area. otherwise there really is no good reason its not like a regular concert it goes on alllllllllllllll freakin day no rush and its usually hot as **** there
