  1. Sadly England is "going to the dogs" but there are still some beautiful, unspoilt spots to be found.

I live in a little village, where everyone say's "good morning" there is very little crime, and it's a pleasure to walk around at night, knowing I am safe.

I love my life, because I love where I live, O.K. I don't make as much money as I would living in a City, but my quality of life is priceless!

  2. I have lived, worked and visited many countries and I have to say, the minute you arrive you just know you are in England. There is an atmosphere unlike any other country I have ever been to. Sadly, like many countries it is Americanizing and loosing some of it's charm, but I would recommend it no matter what... not just London though, everyone goes there, there are other beautiful places, like the south, Isle of Wight, South Hampton and Winchester, or Chester and Liverpool in the north.

  3. for the experience of driving a car on the left side of the road from the right side of the car.  Lots of roundabouts.  Wicked good Indian food.  Best dang beer on draft in the world.  You can see where the names of most of the towns in the "New World" originated.  It's beautiful, the gardens, the rolling hills, the hedge rows, the very old buildings with the occasional castle.  Because it's someplace different from where you currently live, which will make you a more well rounded person.

  4. Oh visiting IS a reason to go.  it's a lovely country.  Good shopping in london, great history all over the place, beautiful landscape and gardens.  No matter what your interests are there is plenty to do.  I would recommend going there to ANYONE and everyone!  Plus it is a short train ride from london to Paris for a nice weekend trip there.  There are also ferries that cross which are nice, you can even get a nice view of the White Cliffs of Dover.  Although if you get bad weather those ferry rides can be a little rough.

    Good luck!

  5. Because it's always fun to experience new cultures, it doesn't matter where you go really.
