Reasons why John Wall will have an explosive next NBA season with Washington Wizards – (Part 4)
Confidence of Wall
It’s been just a single season for Wall and he had delivered above the expectations of all, which goes on to show his immense confidence and abilities. With this kind of confidence, Wall has been able to tweak his jump shots as
well, as earlier he used to struggle with them.
Furthermore, Wall had proved that he can take the burden on his shoulders in the crucial times.
With Washington already in search of some solid players that’ll provide them some stability, there is no room for another nervous player and the way Wall has shown his confidence it will surely bring fans of the Washington Wizards
to life once again.
The Wizards need a couple of players like Wall that’ll help them in regaining their lost status. Players like Gilbert Arenas and Juwan Howard have cost the Wizards too much in the past and Rashard Lewis is costing them big at the
moment. The result however remains that the Wizards haven’t won a championship since the 70’s. The capital city franchise needs to build a young core of player with Wall as the centre.
Wall is the right player for the Wizards. He has been moving in the right direction and needs just a season or two to break out.
When that happens, the Wizards will not only have a better chance of making it to the playoffs a bit more consistently, but his emergence will also make Washington a worthwhile destination for other stars in the league.
Chris Paul, Steve Nash and Derrick Rose have achieved the same in the recent years and the onus is now on Wall to keep up to his promise.
His journey will also be helped by the fact that there are already a few promising prospect in the team. JaVale McGee is an athletic big and with Jan Vesely set to make his debut whenever the next season starts, the Wizards seems
to have their back court covered. On the offense, they possess the likes of Nick Young and the experience of Rashard Lewis and Maurice Evans. All they need is a player who can raise his game next season and help Wall on his way to a break out season.
