  1. There are various theories that the surroundings were changing - meteorite, volcano etc. With their size, dinosaurs were slow to adopt to the changes.

  2. First of all, lizards never stop growing. They grow throughout their life and never stop until the day they die.

Secondly, in the days of Noah people lived about 10 times longer than today. Instead of dying at 80 or 90 they died at 800 or 900.

If people lived ten times longer, so would lizards. If lizards lived ten times longer, and lizards keep growing until the day they die, then if they live ten times longer, they will grow ten times bigger.

So instead of having a 3 ft. long iguana, like we have today, back then you'd have a 30 ft. long iguana. A 30 ft. long iguana! Kind of sounds like a dinosaur doesn't it?

The very first dinosaur ever found was called iguanadon. The man who found it (Gideon Mantell) said that its skeleton looked just like the skeleton of the iguana, except it was alot bigger. Guess how big it was? 30 feet!

Did iguanadon ever really go extinct? Or is it simply unable to grow as big as it used to?

Most dinosaurs went extinct because of the harsh conditions on the earth after the great flood in Noah's day. But those that did not go extinct simply can't grow as big as they used to.

  3. Their enviroment could not sustain them.

It was what the KT boundries suggest, as there are no dinasaur bones above it. A meteor wiped them out.

  4. Most people agree there was a massive meteor impact which started a chain reaction, killing off the dinosaurs.

  5. Climate change from......volcano, meteor........Disease

  6. Humans just love eggs for breakfast!

  7. Dinosaurs became extinct due to the Ice Age when they couldn't feed themselves. The ice (which was metres thick) prevented them from being able to feeding on the vegetation they lived on. The carnivore Dinosaur also could not fed because all the prey they hunted had been killed off due to the ice age. the freezing conditions were not liveable for an animal that was built to live in hot climates even if food was available. There was also no water to drink for them.

  8. A popular belief is a collision with a comet.

  9. food shortage...

  10. Personally, I would have to say that they killed themselves off.  They knew humans were coming, and they just could grasp how it would even be remotely possible to live among us because of the different tongue they speak.  They had to take four courses in order acheive that language.

  11. Meteors.

    They evolved into birds.

The great flood (I really doubt that one).

  12. The plants destroyed the greenhouse effect by absorbing masses of  carbon dioxide to grow.

This caused a cooler climate. Large unfurry cold blooded animals living on the earths surface had to adapt or die out. The dinosaurs never became extinct , the merely adapted. If they had not, we would not be here

  13. MASS EXTINCTIONS

A mass extinction is a relatively sudden, global decrease in the diversity of life forms. Mass extinctions have occurred periodically throughout the existence of life on Earth. To be a mass extinction, the following must occur:

Extinctions occur all over the world.

A large number of species go extinct.

Many types of species go extinct.

The extinctions are clustered in a short amount of geological time (a few million years is very short in terms of geological time).

Most extinctions (perhaps up to 95 per cent of all extinctions) occur as background extinctions, occurring throughout time. These extinctions are not caused by major catastrophes or horrendous climactic changes, but by small changes in climate or habitat, depleted resources, competition, and other changes that require adaptation and flexibility.

The five largest mass extinctions in Earth's history occurred during:

The late Ordovician period (about 438 million years ago) - 100 families extinct - more than half of the bryozoan and brachiopod species extinct.

The late Devonian (about 360 mya) - 30% of animal families extinct.

At the end of the Permian period (about 245 mya) - Trilobites go extinct. 50% of all animal families, 95% of all marine species, and many trees die out.

The late Triassic (208 mya) - 35% of all animal families die out. Most early dinosaur families went extinct, and most synapsids died out (except for the mammals).

At the Cretaceous-Tertiary (K-T) boundary (about 65 mya) - about half of all life forms died out, including the dinosaurs

  14. well, there are some dinosaurs that are not extinct. but, the meteor that cause climate change and polluted the earth with dirt and kept the plants from growing.

  15. if im helping you with homework, im not proud.

    DINOSAUR EXTINCTION

    Why did dinosaurs become extinct?

There have been many ideas to explain why dinosaurs became extinct. At least 55 different theories have been suggested and then thrown out because of problems. For instance, a theory that works for the large animals usually does not explain the extinction of the small animals or sea creatures. Whatever happened to dinosaurs, scientists agree that it must have affected the whole world

  16. smoking :)

  17. Those that think the dinosaurs died out millions of years ago are perhaps unaware of the large amount of evidence indicating that they lived recently alongside man.

There are many written accounts and depictions of dinosaurs.

Remember that the word dinosaur was invented in 1841. Before that people used names like dragon.

People from all over the world have accounts of dinosaurs: the Chinese who have incorporated it into their lunar calendar, The Welsh who have the dragon in their flag; The account of the Saxon Beowolf; The native american thunderbird; and other stories from many other nations. The Romans even made mosaics of them.

Furthermore, dinosaur fossils have even been found containing blood cells - hardly 65 million years old.

But check the evidence for yourself - don't by brainwashed by dogmatic evolutionists who don't want us to think for ourselves :)

The main reason they've died out is most likely because they've been hunted to extinction - good old St George.

and some form of global catastrophe, probably a huge comet in the Yucatan area.

  19. Haven't really thought about it.......but can you imagine dinosaurs trying to mate......yikes.
