Rebate checks?

Question

Are the stimulus checks any ahead of or behind the IRS schedule?? Just wondered. After the direct deposit I have never talked to anyone who got an actual check.

they said now that it is going by the last 2 digets of your social security number they have a lot to mail out so it may be late.  I heard that if your social ends in 45-54 they will be recieved on the 13th of this month but who knows.

On schedule.  Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so you may not get it until early in the following week of the published schedule.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

no, well at least mine wasn't.

mine was scheduled to be mailed 6/6.  its 6/9 now and nothing yet.  i hope i get it today though!

No, it's right on schedule. What happened was the direct deposit checks went out a week or two ahead of schedule, but they're sticking with the normal schedule for mailing out checks. When you receive it depends on the last 2 digits of your ssn and you can check by visiting the IRS website.

my check is suppose to be mailed on the 20th and that is what the hotline is telling me which is right on time but my sisters last two of ss is one digit behind mine and hers is being mailed on the 12th i dont understand that

They are very close to the schedule - some are a few days early.  

Remember that the schedule is the MAIL date, and it will be a few days after that when you actually receive it.

the physical checks are just starting to get sent out.  It will take a few months this way the economy is "stimulated" at different times in the year not just in one month
