Rebellious Cause gets the best odds for The Romford Stadium Maidens
Rebellious Cause has the best odds for winning the third race of The Romford Stadium Maidens in England on Friday, March 16, 2012. The prize money for the winning greyhound has been set as £150.
A total of six quality runners have been attracted towards the 400 metres Grade OR event, which is scheduled to start at 20:34 GMT, and their names are: Rebellious Cause, Pittsburgh Glory, Yahoo Killian, Riverside Lucy, Demesne Loopy and Blonde Bronson.
The bookmakers believe that Rebellious Cause will manage to dominate the proceedings in the race, as he is in good shape compared to the rest of the pack. The punters will also have faith in the abilities of today’s favourite, thus they will be placing maximum
number of bets in favour of his victory.
M. Locke’s trainee has been setting some impressive trial times recently and his performances in this class have also been good. However, he might be a touch rusty at the moment, as he has not taken part in any race this year.
Despite that, the black dog looks in better shape compared to the rest of the pack. He is the son of Head Bound out of Goodlucknow and was born in February 2009.
D. Mullins’ trainee, Pittsburgh Glory, has also been given decent odds for victory. He lacks consistency, but can be quite competitive on his day. The punters might not risk much money on him, as he will find things a touch difficult in this class.
Despite being the favourite runner in his past couple of outings, Pittsburgh Glory failed to deliver the expected results. He needs to perform exceptionally well in order to win back the confidence of the bookmakers.
The brindle dog is the son of Killahan Phanter out of Sanu We Kee and was born in February 2010.
Other than the top two favourites, Yahoo Killian seems to be in a position to fight for race victory. He finished runner up in his most recent outing and is in pretty good shape at the moment. S. Cahill’s trained hound is the son of Duke Special out of Best
Fast Lady and was born in August 2009.
Riverside Lucy, Demesne Loopy and Blonde Bronson will need some luck to challenge the top three. The trio is quite capable of making a strong impression, but the bettors will not have much confidence in them.
